NLL weekly wrap up

NLL – Alex Kedoh Hill earned six points as the Buffalo Bandits inched past the Toronto Rock 15-12 at the Keybank Centre in Buffalo.

Hill scored once and set up five Bandits goals to improve his record to eight goals and nine assists in seven games played. Buffalo is four games back of the first place Georgia Swam.

The Rochester Knighthawks win Saturday night in Vancouver was like a cold drink of water for the Knighthawks who have been lost in a desert so far this season with only three wins including Saturday night’s 12-9 road win in Vancouver.

Newcomer Adam Bomberry scored his second goal of the campaign since arriving last week while Wayne VanEvery added two assists in his fourth start with the K-hawks. Josh Currier was the high points master for Rochester with three goals and an assist.

Out west, the Saskatchewan Rush used OT to win a 12-11 decision over the Calgary Roughnecks.

Sunday’s game: 1 p.m.

This week’s games could move a few teams around with important matchups between the Knighthawks in Buffalo, New England in Toronto and Calgary in Colorado.
