SIX NATIONS OF THE GRAND RIVER TERRITORY — The Six Nations Chiefs will begin their pursuit of a fourth-consecutive Mann Cup when they host the 2026 Canadian Senior A national championship at the Iroquois Lacrosse Arena.
The best-of-seven series against the Coquitlam Adanacs of the Western Lacrosse Association (WLA) begins Friday, Sept. 11 at 8 p.m.
The Chiefs, nine-time Major Series Lacrosse (MSL) champions and national Senior A champions, earned the right to host the Mann Cup after capturing the MSL championship against the Peterborough Lakers in six games. They will face the Adanacs, who defeated the Victoria Shamrocks in six games to win the WLA title.
The series marks the first-ever Mann Cup meeting between the Chiefs and Adanacs. Both teams feature some of the world’s top lacrosse players, including National Lacrosse League players and international athletes representing Canada and the Haudenosaunee on the world stage.
Ahead of the championship series, the Chiefs will host a Media Conference and Luncheon on Thursday, Sept. 10 at 12 p.m, at Monthill Golf & Country Club, 4925 Highway 6, Caledonia, ON.
Players, coaches and team staff will be available for interviews, and lunch will be provided.
Media representatives planning to attend are asked to RSVP.
