HUNTSVILLE – The Jr. C Six Nations Warriors opened the new season with an impressive 11-9 win over the visiting Huntsville Hawks at the Jack Bionda Arena in Huntsville Sunday.
A huge second period for the Warriors overcame a 4-3 first period deficit as the Warriors left the Hawks in the dust with a seven-goal outburst to take a 10-7 advantage with 20 minutes left.
Isaiah Mt. Pleasant scored twice and assisted on two while both Justin Martin and Vern hill registered a goal and four assists.
The Warriors will face the Caledon Bandits, Saturday May 9th, at the Iroquois Lacrosse Arena for fan’s first look at the 2015 Warriors.
