SIX NATIONS So far anyway, it has not been a homer series for either the Six Nations Arrows or the Peterborough Lakers. The Lakers won Game #1, 12-7 at the ILA in Six Nations, and the Arrows Express took Game #2, 15-10 in Peterborough. Thursday night, back at the ILA, the Arrows fought back from a 5-0 first period deficit to push Game #3 into OT. But they could not get that last goal, as the Lakers won it 12-11.
DENVER, CO – History was made by the Iroquois Nationals at the World Lacrosse Championship in Denver, Saturday when, for the first time ever, a wholly Haudenosaunee Sr. men’s sports team medaled at a major international sporting event.
When the Rebels blow out the opposition, as has happened more often than not this year, the focus is usually on the goal scorers, but against the Niagara Thunderhawks, the stars of the series were the Rebels defenders and goaltenders.
SIX NATIONS – After skinning the Sarnia Beavers two straight in the best-of-three quarter final round, the Six Nations Rivermen are now ready for St. Catharines when the Saints come marching into the Iroquois Lacrosse Arena for the second round of the OLA Sr. A playoffs. The Rivermen won Game #1, 16-7, Saturday night at the Gaylord Powless Arena in Ohsweken, and 14-7 at Clearwater to eliminate the Beavers 2-0 in the best-of-three series.

DENVER – If the word heartbreaker could be applied to any lacrosse game, Sunday night’s 9-8 loss for the Iroquois Nations at the hands of Team Canada at the World Lacrosse Championships held this year in Denver, Colorado, would be that game.
OHSWEKEN – With two games left to play in the Sr. B regular season, the Six Nations Rivermen are in a solid third place with 20 points, behind the St. Catharines Saints who hold second place with 22 points, and the first place Ennismore James Gang with 26 points.
OHSWEKEN – Last Friday night the Six Nations Rivermen put in a solid effort against the Owen Sound North Stars at the Bayshore Community Centre, and emerged with an 11-2 win to take full control of third place in the OLA Sr. B standings.
SIX NATIONS – Even with most of their stars back in the line up, the defending Mann Cup Champion Six Nations Chiefs could not put together any kind of consistency against the visiting Brooklin Redmen Saturday night at the ILA, in their 8-6 loss.
SIX NATIONS — Sunday night there was almost a robbery at the Iroquois Lacrosse Arena as the first place, 6-0 Six Nations Arrows Express were taken to the wall by the bottom dwelling 1-4 Toronto Beaches.
SIX NATIONS – Is it safe to call the Six Nations Rebels a Jr. B lacrosse dynasty? Other teams in the loop have had successful seasons, but the Rebels franchise is getting ridiculous. The total domination of the division and the league continued Friday night at the Iroquois Lacrosse Arena with a 22-2 pummeling of the Hamilton Bengals. Sunday they defeated Far East divisional leaders, the Akwesasne Indians14-7.
SIX NATIONS – A huge third period was the difference for the Six Nations Sr. B Rivermen Sunday evening at the Gaylord Powless Arena, as the Rivermen pulled out a 10-6 win over the Oakville Titans.
