Six Nation PeeWee’s lose squeaker to St George

OHSWEKEN – Sunday afternoon, the Six Nations OMHA PeeWee’s lost a 1-0 heartbreaker to St. George in playoff action at the GPA. The two teams were very evenly matched and both had outstanding goaltending, as the score would indicate.

Kyle Curtin recorded the shutout for St. George while Caleb Martin stopped all but one of St. George’s shots.

The St. George game winner was scored at 3:08 of the second period by Sam Halyk assisted by Grant Shewchyk and Dylan Koops.

Although the entire Six Nations team played solidly, Izaiah Whitlow #17, was especially impressive all game as was #40 Devin Jamieson and Associate Player, #9 Riley Martin.
