The public is being asked to keep an eye out for Kyle Joseph LaForme, a missing man from the Mississaugas of the Credit First Nation.
The 35-year-old has been missing since Sept. 27 around 2:30 a.m. according to the Ontario Provincial Police.
Kyle Joseph Laforme, also known as Kyle Joseph, is 5’11″ (180 cm) tall.
He has dark hair and brown eyes. LaForme has a thin moustache, sometimes has a beard and was last seen wearing a red and black flannel sweater, red and black flannel pants, and white Adidas foam-style slides.
Police say he is associated with a blue Chevrolet Orlando and his last confirmed movement was in Hamilton at about 2:30 a.m. on Sun. Sept. 27.
Police believe he had traveled southeast toward Cayuga in Haldimand County.
His family is pleading for anyone in the area to check surveillance camera footage for a man they say is deeply loved and missed.
Police say the core search focus area is Dunnville with specific high priority locations.
“Searchers must place a primary focus on Dunnville due to Kyle’s past residency and strong local familiarity,” police said.
The Mississaugas of the Credit First Nation released detailed locations as top-priority search areas across much of Haldimand and Norfolk Counties, with an initial focus on Dunnville.
Pine Street in Dunnville was highlighted as a priority area, which police said is his former residence and a “high-priority anchor point where Kyle previously lived and knows the surrounding terrain well.”
The George Street area in Dunnville is another high priority focus area as he was known to frequent the area and it’s a key urban location of focus for foot searchers and localized inquiries.
Another focus area in Dunnville is Thompson Creek Elementary School wooded area and encampment in Dunnville.
