SIX NATIONS – Is it safe to call the Six Nations Rebels a Jr. B lacrosse dynasty? Other teams in the loop have had successful seasons, but the Rebels franchise is getting ridiculous. The total domination of the division and the league continued Friday night at the Iroquois Lacrosse Arena with a 22-2 pummeling of the Hamilton Bengals. Sunday they defeated Far East divisional leaders, the Akwesasne Indians14-7.
SIX NATIONS – A huge third period was the difference for the Six Nations Sr. B Rivermen Sunday evening at the Gaylord Powless Arena, as the Rivermen pulled out a 10-6 win over the Oakville Titans.
SIX NATIONS – Six Nations Jr. B Rebels’ 19-year-old attacker Daniel “Bo” Henhawk is a modern young man with a strong sense of tradition, even when it comes to the game he loves – lacrosse, the Creators’ game. He is one of only two Rebels wielding a hickory stick. The other is Alex Martin.
CALGARY – The Calgary Roughnecks struck first in the 2014 NLL Champion’s Cup Finals with a 10-7 home win over the back-to-back champion Rochester Knighthawks in Game 1 of the series before 16,541 fans at Scotiabank Saddledome on Saturday night.
HAMILTON — The Hamilton Bengals didn’t know what hit them Friday night at the Dave Andrechuk arena when the Six Nations Rebels unleashed its power on the host team with a 24-3 bombardment.
ENNISMORE — The undefeated James Gang did battle against the Six Nations Sr. B Rivermen in Ennismore Saturday night and came out the 12-6 victors, reducing the Six Nations record to a still decent, 4-2, good enough for a second place tie with the St. Catharines Saints.
OHSWEKEN – It was touch and go as the clouds gathered over the Ohsweken Speedway for the second attempt at a season opener Friday night. The event was originally planned for last week, but was rained out as was the tune up pre-season runs the week before, but the rain stayed away and the cars finally ran this Friday with a full docket of drivers in every class.
SIX NATIONS – Monday night in Burlington the Six Nations Arrows Express defeated the Burlington Chiefs by a score of 9-8. It took a goal by Haodais Maracle with 40 seconds remaining in the game to do it, but the Arrows third period collapse very nearly resulted in the Arrows’ first loss of the season.
SIX NATIONS — It looks like Six Nations lacrosse fans are in for another great season. The Jr. B Rebels will be looking for their fourth consecutive Founders Cup; the Major Series Chiefs will be out for a second consecutive Mann Cup while the Sr. B Rivermen have their sights on the Presidents Cup. Meanwhile the Can/Am Slash are off to a great 5-1 start to their season. Not to mention the powerful Six Nations Minor lacrosse system at all levels churning out both provincial championships and future lacrosse stars.
ROCHESTER – It is going to be the Six Nations owned Rochester Knighthawks up against the Calgary Roughnecks for the 2014 Champions Cup this year in a new two-game final format beginning in Calgary May 24th and returning to Rochester for the second game May 31st.

OHSWEKEN – For the 19th summer, the sound of roaring high performance engines will be in the air as drivers from the area and beyond open the 2014 racing season, this coming Friday night, May 16th.
